A 46 year old Assistant Manager presented to the clinic with elbow pain and stiffness of the upper back.

P/C: Elbow pain. Stiff around neck. Headaches. Migraines left. Summer time, once a month. Sensitive to heat and sun.

History: Headaches have been present for over five years.
G/H: Stress of work.
Med: n/a
Clinical Tests: n/a
I: Army, fainting from heat.
A: n/a
O: Surgery for moles.
CVS: n/a
GIT: Sensitive to cold, causes vomiting, since childhood.

Circulation: Hands and feet are cold, bad circulation of blood. Switzerland, Dr. – nothing can be done. Feet cold and sweating.

Clinical Findings: cervical and thoracic restrictions.

Dx: T4 syndrome with psychosomatic overlay (stress) of the upper thoracic region.

Treatment: Mobilisation and manipulation of the cervical and thoracic spine. Acupuncture to promote relaxation and softening of the muscles.
